AgBoards Announces Innovative New Web Communities

Attention farmers around the globe: make room in your bookmarks. You now have a new favorite website.

The AgBoards Network, creators of HayTalk.com amongst other farming sites, have expanded their network of agriculture web communities with the release of RowCropTalk.com, AgMeet.com, and AgLoop.com, a new social network aimed at both farmers and businesses in the agriculture industry.

The new websites now stand beside a lineup of other popular farming forums created by AgBoards: TractorFocus.com, RanchingForums.com, and HayTalk.com.

Most exciting is the release of AgLoop.com, a social network aimed at farmers and agriculture businesses. AgLoop has been called the “Facebook of Agriculture” and provides users with an opportunity to create an in-depth profile of themselves or their business. The site affords users a place not just to chat and post photos, but build personal and professional connections that can be invaluable in the future.

AgLoop also has bigger plans: to revolutionize the way agriculture marketing is done on the web. Marketing in the ag industry is a very personal thing and AgLoop supports the process from beginning to end. The site allows companies to create their very own profiles and communicate directly with their current and potential customers to provide support, answer questions, and promote their products.

AgBoards, LLC, located in Indianapolis, IN and owned and maintained by father and son duo James and Zachary Brown, was founded in January of 2010 after their hay and forage forum, HayTalk.com, took off in popularity and they decided to take the project from hobby site to a full-time job.

AgBoards has been featured in Prairie Farmer Magazine, Hay & Forage Grower Magazine, the eHay Weekly newsletter, AgWired.com, and the Zimmcast.

You can listen to a recent interview with founder Zachary Brown at AgWired.com here.

Tractor Focus and Ranching Forums Update

Earlier this week, both Ranching Forums and Tractor Focus were updated to a new piece of software. We’d love to hear what you think about the upgrades and the functionality. We are still working on improving the system, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Leave your comments below or on either of the forums.

AgBoards Additions & Changes

AgBoards has gone through a few changes we wanted our users to be aware of.

First, our Classifieds section has been moved to the AgBoards domain and now serves members of every site in our network. You can view and post a classified here. It is absolutely free.

We’ve also added a Hauling Section to our HayTalk forums. If you are hauling a tractor across country or picking something up, post here if you can haul something either way. This saves money and helps the community!

Finally, our Business Directory is now completely up and running. Post your business today to gain more exposure, be reviewed by our users, and increase your business.

Thanks for your continuing support as we work hard to improve the AgBoards Network for you!

AgLoop.com Opens – Ag Social Network

AgLoop, the new Social Network from AgBoards, opened to great reception this week, and we want to tell you a bit more about it! AgLoop has been compared to the Facebook of Agriculture and provides you with an opportunity to create an in depth profile of yourself or your business.

AgLoop provides you a place not to just chat anonymously, but build personal and professional connections that can be invaluable to you in the future.

AgLoop is a different beast compared to our other sites at AgBoards, but one that we believe could revolutionize the way the agriculture industry and community uses the web.

At AgLoop, you can:

Join today to create your own custom profile and begin taking advantage of this site right away. We appreciate your support of AgBoards and nothing we create means anything without great members like you.
